She is renowned for her groundbreaking contributions to the Kingdom’s biotechnology industry as the inaugural Managing Director of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals sector in the Saudi Ministry of Investment. Through her leadership and strategic vision, Dr. Althari has delivered powerful investments and engineered bespoke partnerships with the world’s biopharma elite, paving the way for advancements in technology deployment, value chain localization, and ecosystem development. She also served as Senior Advisor to the Saudi Minister of Investment in portfolios spanning technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. She co-founded the Catalyze Saudi platform, a conduit to engage the world’s most influential investors in venture capital and private equity with the KSA investment ecosystem, and supported the establishment of data-driven research function at the Prince Mohammad Bin Salman (MISK) Foundation focused on innovative youth empowerment policy solutions.
